“The 16th Art About Agriculture Exhibition”

Deadline for entries: Friday, September 12, 2025, by 11:59 pm PST

Entry Fee: $50 for the submission of up to 3 artworks (3 entries max)

Artists will be notified by Friday, September 19, 2025.

The exhibition will be on view from November 15, 2025, to March 8, 2026.

$500 in cash prizes will be awarded.

From 2007 to 2023, “Art About Agriculture” was presented by the Ag Art Alliance, led by Santa Paula artists Gail Pidduck and John Nichols. It is now a biennial exhibition presented by the Santa Paula Art Museum, with Pidduck and Nichols continuing to serve as jurors.

The purpose of “Art About Agriculture” is to promote awareness of agriculture by using art to explore its many facets—from workers to water, from machinery to fields, and to the food that fills our plates.

“Art About Agriculture” is a juried, group show open to all artists over the age of 18 working in any two- or three-dimensional medium who create art that in some way draws its inspiration from our agricultural heritage and/or contemporary agriculture. Please click here to review the full prospectus.
