Classes at the Santa Paula Art Museum

The Santa Paula Art Museum now offers creative classes for children, teens, and adults! Teaching artists lead students in hands-on art projects where they are introduced to various art materials, concepts and techniques, and build skills through creative and engaging activities. Courses are offered year-round at the Santa Paula Art Museum with the lineup of classes changing quarterly.

Classes for Adults (Ages 16+)

The Santa Paula Art Museum's adult studio art program offers courses in a variety of media and topics, from one-time workshops to in-depth series. Courses are led by professional teaching artists and are designed for beginners as well as seasoned artists. All skill levels are welcome and all supplies are provided in every class. Adult classes are open to all persons age 16 and over. The price of each course varies and space is limited. Personal Bookmaking: Japanese Binding (Ages 16+)

Introduction to Linoleum Prints (Ages 16+)

Cost: $85.00 per person (includes both sessions, plus a tool set and linoleum blocks that each student will take home)

Monotypes Using Gelatin Plates (Ages 16+)

Dates/Times: Friday, March 22, 2019, from 7:00pm to 9:00pm and Saturday, March 23, 2019, from 12:00pm to 4:00pm

Gift a Class Credit

Purchase a class credit in any amount and gift it to a friend or family member! They’ll be able to use it towards the purchase of a spot in any of the Museum’s upcoming classes on a date that works for them. Most of the Museum’s one-time classes are $40.00 per person, but you can purchase a class credit in any amount. Once we are notified of your purchase, we’ll send you and/or your recipient a unique code that can be used to register for a class online or by telephone. We can also send you a gift certificate with this information. Just let us know what you prefer under “special instructions” during checkout. Click on the button below to purchase a class credit.
