About Our Teaching Artist:
Pam Grau is a mixed-media painter based in Ojai, California. Her work blends painting, collage, and digital techniques to create richly layered compositions inspired by travel, nature, and personal transformation. Drawing from her experiences, Grau creates images that function as visual postcards—capturing fleeting moments of beauty and reflection through texture, color, and layered imagery.
She holds a BA in art history and studio art from Mills College and studied illustration at Art Center College of Design. With more than four decades of experience as a painter, Grau brings a deep understanding of both traditional and contemporary practices to her teaching.
