About Our Teaching Artist:

“My watercolor journey began at age twelve. I was home sick from school and my dad brought home a set of tube watercolor paints and paper. However, college, family, and work put a damper on my art. I took up the brush again after my children were grown. While teaching middle school at a Christian School, I taught watercolor painting as an elective. My art has led me to some interesting experiences, like selling paintings at art fairs, illustrating a music video, and a set of prints for Presideo, a wine-tasting room in Solvang. The best part of my art journey has been making friends with fellow artists. Please join me in our journey in watercolor painting!”
