Join us for a special Free Family Day at the Santa Paula Art Museum’s Cole Creativity Center led by guest artist Tori Tasch! Tasch is one of the four artists who make up Blue Marble Art Collective, whose large-scale installation entitled Impending Storms will be exhibited alongside Hiroko Yoshimoto: New Works opening July 16, 2022. During Free Family Day from 12 PM to 3 PM, Tasch will teach children and families how to make sustainable, handmade paper and plantable seed paper to take home. Families will also have the opportunity to visit Yoshimoto and Blue Marble Art Collective’s brand-new exhibits. Admission to the event is free, all are welcome, and all materials will be provided.

Wisconsin-based artist Tori Tasch is an artist educator focusing on sustainable papermaking and printmaking practices. Tori maintains an active studio practice as a resident artist at Studio 224 in Wisconsin. Her work is inspired by daily walks along the river and the environment.
