Join painter and Santa Paula Art Museum teaching artist Gabriel Islas for a live, online demonstration of the topics and projects he will teach in his upcoming Landscapes in Oil: Essential Skills class at the Museum. Gabriel with stream live from his studio as he paints and explains the focus of each of the 4 class modules included in the course. Participants can follow along, ask questions and enjoy watching a masterful oil painter at work!

About Our Teaching Artist: An Oxnard native, Gabriel Islas has returned to the Ventura County art scene after obtaining his BFA with an emphasis in painting from Academy of Art University, San Francisco. His latest works focus on atmospheric paintings of his favorite California landscapes on panoramic panels.
