In Pet Portraits Camp, kids will learn how to capture the personality and features of their favorite pets through drawing and painting! Students will begin with pencil, focusing on proportion, structure, and shading to build strong, accurate drawings from photo references. They will then translate their sketches into vibrant acrylic paintings, exploring color mixing, layering, and techniques for painting fur, eyes, and texture. By the end of the camp, each student will complete a finished pet portrait while gaining valuable skills in observation, drawing, and painting.

*Students are encouraged to bring a printed photo of their pet or favorite animal for inspiration.

This five-day camp will be taught from Monday, June 15, through Friday, June 19, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. each day.

This camp is appropriate for kids ages 11-16. The cost of camp is $180.00 per child for the entire week. All skill levels are welcome and all materials are provided. Preregistration is required and space is limited.

*Each day will have a dedicated break time where kids may eat snacks and drink water. Kids must bring their own snacks and water bottles. Water cups will be available. A parent/guardian is required to sign their child in and out every day.
