Discover the scenic wonder of clouds in brilliant oil paint with teaching artist Aaron MacDonald! Students will learn the fundamentals of color mixing and paint application through demonstrations and step-by-step instruction. Aaron will also introduce shape design and value structure, helping students to create captivating paintings of clouds. All skill levels are welcome and all materials are provided.
This workshop will be taught on Friday, October 2, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
This class is for ages 16 and over. The cost of the workshop course is $42 per person. Preregistration is required and space is limited. The course will be held inside SPAM’s Cole Creativity Center located at 123 N 10th St., Santa Paula, CA. Free parking is available directly behind the building and students may enter through the front or back door.

About Our Teaching Artist:
Aaron MacDonald is a painter native to Ventura County and has been on his artistic journey for nearly a decade. He aspires to the skill of the old masters and is a devotee to art in all its shapes and forms. Aaron is grateful to share his experience in drawing and painting and knows that knowledge, love, and exercise is an excellent formula for producing successful creations on canvas.
